Jean-Claude Mabushi has a Masters Degree in Economic Law, Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium and an MSc. in Public Procurement Management, University of Turin/ITC-ILO, Italy. The thesis of his MSc. dealt with the scope for improving integrity in public procurement through legal reform in Burundi. Mr Mabushi is currently an independent consultant in public procurement. He has previously worked at the International Development Law Organization, where he was involved in developing and implementing projects in the areas of public procurement policy, legal reform and capacity building within the international development context.
He has also conducted diagnostic assessments of national public procurement systems in various African countries and delivered training sessions to procurement officials from developing countries.
